Your privacy is important to us. This privacy statement explains the personal data Woodgrove live demo application collects and processes, and for what purposes. This Woodgrove Verified ID demo application collects information about the use of the demo and send it to Microsoft. Microsoft may use this information to provide services and improve our products and services.

This Woodgrove Onboarding demo application is a Multi-tenant app (a.k.a. Enterprise application). It accepts sign-ins from any Microsoft Entra tenant after consenting to use their account with Woodgrove Onboarding demo application. The employee accounts the hiring manager creates and manages are stored in the hiring manager's Microsoft Entra ID tenant. For example, if the hiring manager signs-in with bob@contoso.com account, all the employee accounts will be created in the contoso.com tenant.

For the employee to get email notifications, the hiring manager provides the employee's email address. The employee's email will be stored in a the application's cache and will be persisted into the respective Microsoft Entra ID tenant.

To get a TrueID card, the employee provides some data directly that is stored in their wallet app (Microsoft Authenticator app) and it remains only in their wallet.

Personal data, also known as personal information or personally identifiable information (PII), is any information related to an identifiable person. The purpose of this live demo application is for illustration only. You are NOT obligated to provide your personal information, such as first name, last name, location etc. Make sure NOT to use any of your real details that can reveal your identity.

The email address must be in the correct format. The hiring manager can use a temp email solution. Also, the hiring manager can provide a fake email address. In this case, the hiring manager will have to copy the invite URL address and share it with the employee.

This Woodgrove demo app uses the Application Insights to collect telemetries to determine when, where, and how users interact with this live demo. Check out the Monitoring App Service data reference for detailed information on App Service metrics and logs. In addition to the basic Application Insights telemetry, Woodgrove live demo app collects the following data:

• The demo that you run, and the type of the activity.
• Exceptions, or errors that occur in either in the app or REST APIs.
• The referral that identifies the address of the web page, from which the page has been requested.
• We don't store any personal data in Application Insights, including your IP address.

If you clone and run the demo in your own environment, you may turn off the telemetry by leaving the ApplicationInsights:ConnectionString in the appsettings.json configuration file empty.
